Peter G. Klein est un économiste américain de l'école autrichienne. Libéral et scientifique, il fait partie du bureau éditorial du Journal of Libertarian Studies. Il a été professeur d'économie à Athens, dans l'Etat de Georgie aux USA. Avec Nicolai J. Foss, il est un des rares spécialistes de la théorie de la firme dans une perspective autrichienne.
