Robert Emerson Lucas Junior, communément appelé Robert Lucas (né le 15 septembre 1937) est un économiste américain né à Yakima, dans l'État de Washington.
Fondateur de la Nouvelle économie classique, il appartient à l'École de Chicago.
Il a reçu le Prix Nobel d'économie en 1995, pour son travail sur les anticipations rationnelles.
