Sherwin Rosen (1938 - 2001) est un économiste américain appartenant à l'école de Chicago. Proche de Gary Becker et de sa théorie du capital humain, il est à l'origine de la théorie du tournoi, remettant en cause la théorie du salaire de l'école néo-classique reposant sur la productivité marginale du travail.
