Thomas G. Moore

Thomas Gale Moore est un économiste, chercheur à la Hoover Institution. C'est un spécialiste de la déréglementation, principalement dans le transport. Il a fait ses études à la Stanford University. Il est l'auteur d'études sur la Commission du Commerce Inter-États (Interstate Commerce Commission : ICC) lorsqu'il travaillait pour la Brookings Institution et pour l'American Enterprise Institute. Il estima que les consommateurs perdaient plus de 10 milliards de dollars par an à cause des réglementations de l'ICC qui incitent à fixer rigidement les prix, à freiner la libre entrée sur le marché, en obligeant les camions à ne transporter que de l'air, et en empêchant même les véhicules chargés de marchandises d'aller directement à destination.
