Doug Bandow

Doug Bandow est un chroniqueur politique américain. Il est titulaire d'un J.D. de l'Université de Stanford. Il a collaboré avec la revue mensuelle, The Freeman de la fondation pour l'éducation économique et il est l'auteur et le rédacteur de plusieurs livres, dont "The Politics of Plunder".

Il est chercheur confirmé au Cato Institute, spécialisé dans la politique étrangère et les libertés civiles. Il a travaillé comme assistant spécial du président américain Ronald Reagan et il fut rédacteur en chef du magazine politique, "Inquiry". Il a écrit régulièrement pour des publications telles que le magazine Fortune et il intervient quelquefois dans des conférences, sur les campus universitaires ou dans les entreprises. Doug Bandow a été un commentateur régulier sur ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel et MSNBC. Il a notamment fait remarquer, dans un article de 1997, que le plan Marshall fut une complète construction mythologique.
