Leonard S. Peikoff est né le 15 octobre 1933. C'est un philosophe objectiviste et ancien professeur de philosophie. Il est le fondateur de l'Ayn Rand Institute et héritier légal des biens matériels et immatériels de Ayn Rand. C'est en particulier lui qui détient les droits sur ses livres.
