William P. Baumgarth, né le 10 juillet 1946 à Union City, dans le New Jersey, est un politologue américain, spécialiste de l’œuvre de Friedrich Hayek.
Biographie
Il étudie à l'Université de Fordham d'où il sort diplômé en sciences politiques en 1968, Il étudie ensuite à l'université d'Harvard où il obtient un M.A en 1970. Il a soutenu une thèse en 1975, également à Harvard, intitulée "The Political Philosophy of Friedrich von Hayek".
Il enseigne à la Fordham University, comme associate professor dans le département de sciences politiques.
Il collabore également avec l'Independent Institute[1] ou le Ludwig von Mises Institute.
