Richard Vedder

Richard K. Vedder est professeur d'économie de l'université de l'Ohio. Il a obtenu son doctorat (PHD) en 1965 à l'université de l'Illinois.

Ses champs de recherche concernent l'histoire économique, les politiques publiques, l'immigration américaine, l'éducation, le travail et les marchés de capitaux dans une optique de libre marché.

Il est proche de l'école autrichienne, faisant partie des scientifiques quelquefois appelés les 'fellow travellers' mais en restant assez éloigné également, puisqu'adoptant une démarche néo-classique assez ferme.
