Andrew P. Morriss

Andrew P. Morriss est professeur de droit à l'université de l'Alabama School of Law. Il est régulièrement invité à l'Université Francisco Marroquin, au Guatemala. Il a obtenu son premier diplôme universitaire (BA) à l'Université de Princeton, puis son diplôme de Droit (JD) et une maîtrise en affaires publiques à l'Université du Texas à Austin, et finalement, son doctorat (en Économie) à l'Institut de technologie du Massachusetts. Avant d'enseigner à l'Université de l'Alabama, il fut professeur de droit des affaires à l'université de l'Illinois et de la Case Western Reserve University, à Cleveland, dans l'Ohio, où il a également été doyen associé de 2000 à 2003.

Il effectue de nombreuses recherches dans divers centres :

• Université de New York sur le Travail et de Droit de l'emploi,
• Environnement et Propriété à Bozeman, Montana, (PERC)
• Centre Mercatus à l'université George Mason,

Il est l'auteur et coauteur de plus de cinquante chapitres de livres et d'articles scientifiques et il contribue pour la rédaction d'articles dans deux magazines : The Freeman: Ideas on Liberty et Books & Culture: A Christian Review. Ses domaines d'intérêts portent sur les problèmes d'environnement et de la réglementation.
