Frank van Dun est un juriste et philosophe belge libertarien d'expression néerlandaise, né à Anvers (Belgique) le 22 février 1947.

Il enseigne la philosophie du droit à l’Université de Gand (Belgique). Il a publié plusieurs livres (malheureusement non traduits) et de nombreux articles d’un grand intérêt, notamment dans le Journal of Libertarian Studies dont il fait partie du bureau éditorial.

Il prépare actuellement un ouvrage consacré au droit naturel, dont un brouillon peut déjà être consulté sur son site Internet (en anglais).

Dans une controverse avec Walter Block et N. Stephan Kinsella (Against libertarian legalism: a comment on Kinsella and Block) il soutient que le principe de non-agression doit être étendu à l'identité, l'intégrité et l'honneur ("le respect") de la personne, ce qui interdirait la diffamation, le licenciement "abusif" ou le piratage des œuvres de l'esprit.
