Jack Wiseman, né en décembre 1919 et mort le 20 janvier 1991, est un économiste britannique qui a étudié à la London School of Economics avec Friedrich Hayek et Lionel Robbins. Il fait partie de ces économistes à la London School of Economics qui ont développé le coût subjectif. Sous l'influence de l'école autrichienne dont Friedrich Hayek, Jack Wiseman a participé au développement du subjectivisme méthodologique avec ses compagnons de route : James McGill Buchanan, Ronald Coase, Ronald Edwards, Ludwig Lachmann, George Shackle et George F. Thirlby.
